ElevateUT Singles League begins play at the River Bottoms!

I’m super excited to announce the first-ever Elevate UT Singles League! This league exists to highlight the work done by ElevateUT, serve as a place to raise funds to continue improving courses, and help disc golfers meet new people and play new courses.

This league will play on Wednesday nights at 6 PM (light permitting) at the new River Bottoms disc golf course in Draper, and YES, it will be mowed!

Here’s how it will work:

1. Register on UDisc: We’ll be using UDisc for everything in this league, and you’ll be able to register before the event or at the time of sign-up: www.elevateut.com/league

2. Pay: Eric will be taking cash or Venmo at check-in. Breakdown as follows:

  • $3 ElevateUT League Fee (Mandatory)

  • $5 Buy-in for payout (optional)

  • $3 Ace pot (optional)

  • $1 CTP (optional)

  • $1 Longest Putt (optional)

  • $2 Super Ace (optional) This will be a specific hole each week.

  • $3 minimum, $15 all-in

3. Play: Right before tee-off, I will create cards randomly based on division/pool and assign you to go to a specific hole. You’ll likely be playing with a different card every week.

4. Come get paid: We’ll meet back in the parking lot and winnings will be distributed. Pro payouts will be in cash. All other division payouts will be credit at Another Round Disc Golf - Salt Lake City, with a 10% bump in all winnings courtesy of Another Round! Ace pots and other optionals will pay out cash OR you can choose credit with the 10% bump.

Divisions are loosely specified on the UDisc event page, but we will be following a "3 strikes you’re up" rule, meaning if you win your division three times, you gotta play up next time!

If you read this far, thanks! I’m happy to answer any questions, and we’ll see you on Wednesday!

River Bottoms Update 6/5/24

Mowing of the course will begin tomorrow, but we could use some help behind the whippers. If you have availability Thursday-Sunday to head out to the course, bring a weed whipper and tackle a fairway
