Section 1: Introduction

Welcome to the ElevateUT Disc Golf Impact Grant Program!

ElevateUT is excited to announce the ElevateUT Disc Golf Impact Grant Program, a transformative initiative set to reshape the disc golf scene in Utah. This program is not just a funding source; it's a key driver for community development, outdoor recreation enhancement, and the promotion of disc golf as an inclusive sport. Designed to support the improvement and creation of disc golf facilities, the program aims to bridge urban and rural divides, providing accessible and enriching spaces for everyone. Recognizing the sport's potential to unite communities, promote wellness, and offer accessible leisure, this initiative marks a significant step towards nurturing and expanding the disc golf landscape in diverse Utah environments.

Our program's approach is deeply collaborative, seeking active partnerships with local governments, disc golf clubs, and community organizations. By fostering these relationships, we aim to initiate a ripple effect of positive change, making each funded project more than just a physical improvement – it's an investment in a more vibrant, connected community life. The program is designed to engage a broad spectrum of participants, from seasoned players to newcomers, underscoring our belief in disc golf's power to unite people through shared experiences. We're committed to not only providing financial support but also cultivating a spirit of teamwork and inclusivity. Our ultimate goal is to see disc golf courses become thriving community hubs, fostering friendships, skill development, and a shared passion for the sport.

Bill Maertz, director of community services for the city of Santee, California
